The magic of autumn is the way in which the world can be so full of life, even as it prepares for winter. There is no denying that the smells, tastes and colors that fall evokes are magical. We took to the studio to create color stories filled with the season’s harvest, matched to pretty pantones – inspired by NYFW and the entire month of September. Let’s start October with something colorfully cozy.

Leave bright green in summer and enter a richer, deeper shade called quetzal. Think forest green and aquamarine joining forces to create a mystifying tone. You will find this hue in variations with our featured maternity pieces: tie sleeve floral maternity dress, pleated maternity blouse, slouch cocoon maternity sweaterruched shoulder maternity top, dark wash maternity jeans.

This wouldn’t be fall if we didn’t give an ode to olive. The other side of green is creamier, more muted and has its own sophistication.  It’s a new neutral and plays well with all shades of beige. And although you may not be able to indulge in a martini right now, you can certainly add it to your closet. That is what we call a style craving. Try the featured maternity pieces: sateen skinny leg maternity pants, balloon sleeve maternity sweater in heather gardenia, white maternity top, open maternity cardigan sweater, BB Dakota zip front hooded maternity jacket.

Leaves. When we think of fall, we think of leaves. The red, orange tones that are so beautiful in their wake makes us want to go shopping for a similar shade of style immediately. Enter: our take on fall foliage fashion and Pantone’s Red Pear. Shop the features maternity pieces: cuffed open front maternity sweater, exclusive Luxe Essentials maternity sweater in light mahogany, exclusive Luxe Essentials plaid button up maternity shirt, side ruched maternity tee,  side panel corduroy maternity pants.

Happy Autumn. Happy October. Happy Shopping. @apeainthepodmaternity #40weeksofchic
