APIP BLOG IsabellaOliver Pieces Post 2018 v1

This week we’ve been shining a style spotlight on designer brand, Isabella Oliver. Founded by Baukjen De Swaan Arons, the clothing company celebrates all women, but we of course love their maternity styles and their dedication to the #IsabellaOliverMama.

We asked Baukjen to tell us her three favorite styles from Isabella Oliver for A Pea in the Pod and why she loves them. See below to shop the looks (and similar pieces) so you can curate your expecting closet like a designer!

For the work to weekend wardrobe maker: a classic like her favorite Poplin Tie-Detail Maternity Shirt in White. Shop every IO maternity top with just an easy click.

For the everyday outfit, filled with that quintessential laid-back luxe: The Isabella Oliver Underbelly Maternity Jogger. Finish off your look with these other IO bottoms that you can dress up or down.

The perfect piece for all those summer events: The One-Shoulder Maternity Dress in Black. Can’t find your size? Shop similar IO styles here.

In addition to being fashion forward, Baukjen and her brand are exceptionally environmentally conscious. Isabella Oliver takes strides to never over-produce, keeping it season-to-season and using high-quality materials that are meant to be worn over and over; this is not fast-fashion. With keeping most of the production in house at their London Studio and then manufactured ethically in Portugal, they work hard to keep the pieces meaningfully made for you. Added bonus is that almost all of our Isabella Oliver pieces are made for now and after baby!

We love working with brands that support women, mothers, fashion and the environment. For more of our designer spotlights, keep following us here and @apeainthepodmaternity with #40weeksofchic – plus, check out our last fashion focus, which was on Rachel Pally! And as always, stay social with us. We love to see how you style your pregnancy.
