We know how important having a great pair of jeans is in a woman’s wardrobe, especially the mom-to-be. We reached out to fashionable and expecting women to demonstrate how they wear their denim and to share their tips on maternity style and motherhood. We’re starting off this exciting series with our first mom-to-be, Priscilla Vega. Read along to recreate her outfit and stay tuned for more fall style inspiration from Priscilla and other moms In Real Life!
We’ve been a fan of Priscilla’s Instagram, where she has been delivering major maternity style. She works in Public Relations and Marketing, so she understands how good fashion leaves a lasting impression. Her #1 maternity style tip? “Get those maternity jeans as quickly as possible! Trying to fit into your pre-maternity jeans is no fun and can be a bit painful. I promise nobody will be able to tell how early on you made the switch and you’ll look and feel much more comfortable while you’re at it.”
Priscilla showcases her bump in our new exclusive DL1961 maternity jean, “The Jess.” This ankle length maternity jean is fit for the mom-to-be with side panels for a comfortable and flattering underbelly style. Priscilla loves the jean in a dark wash. She pairs them with a flowy floral top, a must-have for the fall season that she can wear after pregnancy, too.
Priscilla already goes by “Mommy” to her 4 year old daughter Ina. “I love sharing my passions with my daughter and seeing them through her eyes,” says Priscilla. “I love to dance so I dance for her often. She smiles so big when she watches me dance. I haven’t yet figured out if she’s happy because she sees how happy dancing makes me or if she’s happy because I’m putting on a show for her. Either way, I just love sharing my passions with her. I can’t wait for her to find her passion.”
